My ADF just ate a guppy!

curious... umm.... so the guppy didn't have too much longer to go, leads me to think the guppy was sick.... would the guppy being sick affect the frog in any way? Can the disease be passed from fish to frog?
I believe fungal and bacterial infections will most likely affect the frogs, most particularly the mycobacteriosis.

I was concerned about the guppy being ill myself. I was thinking about removing it from the tank not 2 minutes before the frog decided to eat it.

He was one of 6 male feeder guppies that I just purchased yesterday afternoon, to add some movement to the tank. Perhaps he was injured or stressed from the move rather than ill?
Severe stress can and unless the feeder was handled roughly, transported around too much and simply dropped to the tank without any proper acclimation like al other fish, I doubt a fish would be severely stressed. Injuries? Have you seen signs of injuries with that fish? What other symptoms did you observe?

I did acclimate them before adding to the tank, but it was a short acclimation, probably 15 minutes, because I was at work.

I didn't have very much time to observe the fish. Probably about 2 hours from the time I put him in the tank, until the frog ate the sick one. He was resting in some plants for quite a while, them he swam around a little, then he was lying on the bottom.

I hope is wasn't anything too nasty. It wouldn't be cool if that whole tank of feeder guppies that I got him from was infected with something that could be spread.

I have two of these guys with some cherry shrimp and a fancy male guppy. Someone took a big bite out of his tail. The ADF's have been eating the shrimp and I think they ate a small guppy (ender I think) that's gone missing. I read that they are supposed to be near sited, but they will come to the glass and stare at me.
