My Algae Branch

I am growing this black beard algae for...uh....MsJinkzd's algae experiment.

Yes....that's why.....not because it just grows on its own...:uhoh:

I am sure that is why YOU guys are growing algae too, right?

Look at the thick, luxuriant growth on this algae. I am CAREFULLY tending it, so that I might reap a bountiful algae harvest for MsJinkzd.

For some reason, using the flash REALLY changes the color of BBA.

Once again, this algae growth has nothing to do with my inability to stop it...:bs:

In all honesty though, it really doesn't bother me a bit. Adds some character!

when i first had my tank i got BBA all over the top layer of gravel and its still there lol
mine is more black but its really tiny now that i added plants
only algae problem ive ever really had
btw in my avatar all that black stuff is BBA

I am glad to know other people don't mind a little of it around...I thought maybe I was a little wacky...well that's not the only reason
