He's not looking very good. But here is my rock and a hard place.

I am about to take the whole tank down to sell it off, because I am not giving my fish or plants the attention they deserve. I do not have a place to quarantine the angel fish. He seems to be the only one to have ich though. I don't really know what to do with him. Should I treat the whole tank or euthanize the angel? I was going to give the fish to a local fish store, but I don't want to do that if they are going to make the other fish sick.

Please give me some advice.

Hmm, since you are going to give the fishies away anyway... Depending on your LFS, most store tanks I've seen have terrible ich and probably other diseases. It might not make a difference if you just give them to the store as is. Unless you're worried about your "reputation" at the store? My thinking is that they'll probably get ich again once they're there anyway.

Am I terrible for saying that? I could be wrong, though, and the store you're thinking of takes great care of their fish. In which case, treat the entire tank with salt because the ich parasite is definitely already in it.

Sorry to hear you're getting out of the aquarium game. It's good of you to realize that you can no longer care for them the way they deserve, though.

I'd feel wrong killing the stock of a fish store because I gave them infected fish. The store doesn't deserve that and neither do the fish.

It's a big tank, so it'll be hard to treat, but I'll give it a shot.

Wait, actually, it isn't ich. He has white blotches on him, but the are larger then salt grains and are not raised up. They are still small, maybe half the size of a grain of rice. Any ideas?

My camera is broken, so I can't get pictures of him for you. I really don't nokw. I've read all of the descriptions and I can't find anything that really matches up.
