my angel

i just bought a angel.right now he is in my ten gallon then after a week or so he will going into a 29G.whay i want to know are Angles shy?mine is trying to hide in the few plants i have in my tank he down towards the bottom.also he has been in the tank for about and hour and a half so i decided to add some food and he wont come up to eat.then i decided to put in a shrimp pellet right by him.Will he eat later when im not in the room?

Just give him time to acclimate and get used to your tank.

Feed them 24 hours after he was introduced. Keep the lights off so he can settle quietly.
