My anubia is budding

Yea that what I have except its on a 45 degree angle and it really started to take off when I hooked up my new pressurized system.I'll keep you updated to see what it turns out to looke like besides the ear of corn that it looks like now.:)
 
It's hard to tell at first - mine has flowered (only once) but the start of the flower was identical (as fars as i could tell) to a new leaf shoot.
You can tell after a couple of days - if it starts to unroll it's more than likely a leaf.
 
If you know the common houseplant Spathiphyllum, the Anubias flower looks much like that - a white spathe (modified leaf) around and behind the true flower-bearing stalk with its tiny flowers.
 
I purchased an Anubias Nana from aquariumplants.net. I was surprised when it arrived becuase it had a mature flower virtually indentical to the one featured in this image.. http://www.aquariumplants.co.za/plants/images/enlarge/523b.jpg

It did not last long though as it was obviously grown emersed. With the plant fully submersed in my aquarium the stema quickly disintegrated. The plant its self has flourished though. I have it growing near the top of the tank now perched on a piece of drift wood. I hope it sprouts again.
 
By comparison to others, they are not beautiful flowers, but I remember how absolutely gorgeous my first Anubia flower looked:).
