Finally, mom is leadingthem out. How long since hatching to be free swimming? How many do you figure? If memory serves, A. bitaeniata have around 60 frys.
It was like 4-5 day since they hatched that they started to free swim..mom is leading them out, but not to far. And i think there is around 40-50 of them. They are so cute!!!
wow them things are big for fry. congrats on the spawn. its always exciting. have you lost any fry to other fish or are they in a tank by themselves?
:headshake2:No i havent lost any fish yet....i wish they were in the tank by themselves...but they arent i havent other fish hopefully...i dont lose any....i dont know what to do to avoid it...but it looks like they want to go swim around the whole tank now rather than just their little area...but mom is not letting them...hope they get big soon...dont want to lose any
