You can grow cold weather crops or ornamental plants. You can also raise cold weather fish such as trout or goldfish.
Well thanks for the info. I've recently become interested in hydroponics and plan to spend some time researching it this spring. I'll have to add aquaponics to the list as well! The other forum you posted is quite interesting. I've spent the last few hours browsing it and there are some really nice setups out there. I cant wait to be done with school and have a bit more free time.

This is AWESOME and I'm so intrigued! I just recently heard of aquaponics - I've been doing organic gardening for years and love my fresh veggies, but was also hoping for a way to have some breeding fish have better water quality, etc. I was trying to think of a good way to rig a planted/paludarium tank to a big aggressive tank, but the idea of aquaponics and some native fish is really awesome too. Thanks for sharing (and I'll have to check that website more too)
