Very striking and good pictures!!! I'm not much of an aquascaper but I think that if I wanted to keep the overgrown look at the top on the left, I would attach some java moss to small pieces of driftwood and grow them in the dark area of the left side in hopes that would lighten up that corner some. I can't really see if there is anything there right now. I'm using Marsiella in my low light ten gallon which would be a possibility too but I'd think the java moss might be a better choice in contrast.
Jeremy, you're tank looks great to me. Nice and healthy looking.
The only thing I feel it needs is something in front of that dark area over on the left. Perhaps a nice bright red ludwigia repens, although that might get a little tall there. Just something that will stand out against that darkness.
Yes, I have the intake of my eheim ECCO 2235 hooked up to the aqualine 1000 reactor. I just cut the host in half and then went to Home Depot and got an elbow connector so that the hose wouldn’t kink on the bottom. The reactor comes with mounting brackets to attach it to the wall. I added a few more pics of the equipment at the end of the thumbnail list so you can get a better idea of it.
The reactor is working great. It’s definitely worth the $80.00. I have heard that it’s better to hook it up on the intake of the filter instead of the outtake because when you have it on the outtake it decreases the filter flow allot more then when it’s on the intake. It’s also better on the intake side because the water pulls the CO2 bubbles down with it so the CO2 dissolves faster.
