Thanks for all of the compliments! It is nice to hear from fellow fishkeepers. I have tried to set it up so everyone has their own space to hangout or hide. I also tried to choose fish who occupied all levels of the tank. This one tank is of course going to lead to another bigger one...
I currently have a couple of inexpertly placed plants and a little fake dojo that my frogs love. (Frog fu?)
I wish I'd looked at some more aquascaping pics before I bought my little decorations for my 10g. I would love to add some faux wood like what you have.
Your tank blows mine out of the water, so to speak.
I wish I could pull off the Freshwater/Saltwater look (FW and SW ornaments in the same tank). That makes for lots of color. I wanted a colorful tank...but somehow it all turned out blue and gray haha.
I know what you mean. This is my "redecorated" tank. I had two large lava rocks in there before, but I thought it needed color. Rocks were just big and brown. I figured the fish probably wouldn't care if some of the decorations were for a saltwater environment.
I love the decorations available at www.thatfishplace.com .... I want the Egyptian jar decoration and a crocodile skull eventually in my larger tank. I think it'd be awesome to see my Senegal Bichir slithering between the croc's teeth!!
