Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
I looked into the tank and saw him laying normally on the bottom of the tank.. and all his fins were up which was weird.. and he looked more pale.

So i put the net near him and he didnt move :(

I'm pretty bummed out about it because i really liked that clown pleco.

I tested my water for everything, and everything is where it should be.

I guess it was because he wasnt getting enough to eat.

**** angelfish :swear::swear:

Thats why you put big wafers in, or fruits/veges for them to nipple on. My gf has a clown pleco probably 1.25" long with baby goldfish and he learned to get out and eat before they get it all.

What kind of wafers were you feeding him/her? I suspect algae wafers, and plecos need more than that in their diet. What exactly do you mean by "everything is where it should be" in regards to your parameters?

How long has your tank been established?

clowns need wood in their diet.

do you have driftwood in the tank?

I also had a catfish go on me recently. It was an Otocinclus. They were kind of active when I took them out of QT and placed in my 10G with the guppies. But after some time, they slowed down, and I found one of them laying on it's side late one night. I checked to see if it was still alive, and it was. It moved out of the way and I thought nothing of it. Next morning, one was pale, on it's side, and not breathing. I dropped in some algae wafers in case they were not getting enoug to eat, but the guppies ravaged them. I then dropped in a stick of carrot, and no one has touched it yet. I fear the other one might not make it either.

I'm sorry for your loss.
