My berried Zebra shrimp!

Mad as in angry or just plain NUTS?
I have a prego zebra shrimp from the 2nd generation! These guys grow up so fast. I am now using distilled water in their tank. It seems to be working well, and keeping the water acidic and soft. I barely ever see more than 2-3 at a time, the tank has become so over grown with plants. Is too many plants a bad thing in there?
