bet i had about 10 of you ready for war

its a 5 gallon tank with a 10g filter i have an acrylic top on it sooo since theres no way that light will support real plants i used a houseplant that they commonly use for betta vases (i just cut a hole in the acrylic top i made with a hacksaw and a drill and plopped the plant in may do another later

this tank is my halway night light its got a little miny 8 inch flouro just nuff light to see the fish but the house plant dont take a whole lot of light.

anyhow my betta and the corys seem to LOVE it

Definately true. I admit that is what brought me into this thread

Thats a nice setup you have there. I like the sinking ship and the houseplant looks spectacular even in a 5 gallon tank. Cutting the acrylic must have been hard work. How is the Betta doing with the current from a 10 gallon filter?

at first he hid from int behind the ship but now he acctually plays in it

acrylic isnt that hard to cut you just gonna have patience when your useing a little mini hacksaw. its acctually alot easier to work than plexi . but get it dirty if you can . i had mine spotless and tried to reach my hand thru it 4 times. and to be honest the acrylic isnt a pretty cut. if i had a cutoff wheel for my dremmel woulda been alot easier and straiter. also i was off my an 8th of an inch so it kinda hangs over on the front side. theres some fish in there that shouldnt be but they are waiting for my 55g in may.

lol i know i was just being fecitious
hey but i bet your not the only ones that came in here ready to open up a can of whupp something or other after seeing that title.

thanks the decorations were honestly just leftover stuff
and it acctually is a vase. a filtered heated very large oddly shaped vase
