MY betta vase

Interesting UncaBret. However I don't really understand how the peace lily is being supported.
Sorry, somehow I missed this question. It's wedged in the opening for the filter. The point where the stalks and roots merge makes kind of an hourglass shape, and its grown to fit. At first I thought of sticking a wood kabob stick through the root mass, but didn't need it.

I pulled it out the other day so I could clean the tank and trim the roots, the roots were 3 feet long! It's near a window and gets sunlight.

The one on my 65 is going strong, too.

Sort of off topic, but I've had a peace lily in a vase for five years now. No dirt, only water and colored marbles. I don't know what it lives on besides water and sunlight. Its has flourished from a one inch stalk to five inches from one side to the other and if it gets any wider, I'll have to buy a wider vase for it. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Get a vase like mine! That way you get a plant AND a fish! I'm still kicking around the idea of getting another for 4 whiteclouds.
