Are these CA legal? If so kinda resembles a snakehead in dentition, but sadly I will never have a giant snakehead to grace my tank 
Look at the chompas on that one!!! I actually been bite by one through a fish when I work at a LFS around my way. Those teeth are no joke!!

hoplas malabaricus ar ethe only wolfs not legal in Calfornia. The Red Wolf (erythrinus erythrinus), black wolf (hoplias aimara) and hoplias curupira are legal But black wolf's go for hundreds of $

They actually made one specific species illegal but not the species family illegal? That's strange. Like Asian arowana are all illegal, not just one or a few variants?
I want the big one lol! He needs to be able to keep up with my other big boys(silver arowana, peacock bass, redtail cat, red belly pacu etc)
I know they can be an aggressive fish, but you've gotta see the damage my big boys throw down lol.
