My cat just ate an algae wafer

LOL, my cat always tries to bat my hand down and get the flakes.....

I feel your pain... I came home a week ago and found my 1oz can of Tetrafin fish flakes not only knocked off the coffee table, but the lid was chewed off and all the flakes (new full can too) spilled all over the living room.

Well, my cats already steal the poor fishes water (they dip their paws in, then lick the water off their paws, like there is NO OTHER water in the whole house.) So why not steal their food now too.

I wonder what would be cheaper, Pounce or fish food treats??? We could start a new business here... Treats for you cat & fish all in one. (It sure would cut my grocery shopping time in half. LOL) But I guess fish flavored treats would be out of the question right.... :grinno:

My cat does that too! She prefers ANY water other than her own water bowl(which I change out daily). I have a bucket full of water/plant trimmings next to my tank, and yesterday I caught her drinking out if it. It's stagnant water that's been sitting in front of a window for two weeks. It's got to be foul, but she drank it like it was Dom, while her own fresh water bowl was two feet away.

My girlfriend's dog ate an old bag of goldfish pellets and the mealworms I had for my oscar. I was afraid he'd get sick, but he didn't. He's gotten into worse things...

The worst thing I ever came across is when I found a balloon sticking out of my cats butt. Then I realized that we didn't have any clear balloons in the house.....hmmmmm.

I think you all can guess what he had eaten. :barf:

Yeah, he got into my trash can from the night before. He had a thing for eating tissues and apparently got more than he bargained for.

The worst part was, he couldn't completely pass it and we had to pull it out for him... that was by far the grosses thing I have ever done. :yuck:

What we do for our pets!
