BUMP, for my sis. I really had a gr8 time with the tank tonight!! cant wait to see what you an lisa come up with for the light!

The blue one with the black strip on it's fin is a Pseudotropheus socolofi. The other blue ish white one looks to be a Metriaclima callainos though I'm not 100% sure about that one. The others I don't know. In both of the above species the males and females look identical. Hope that helps 
Im not entirely sure given the clarity of the pictures, but the goldish one with the black lateral stripe kinda resembles a young red bay snook. Although it's snout looks too short and the dorsal fine doesnt seem quite the same. You could try googling some pictures of red bay snook to compare though
first pic, big bright blueish fellow is a cobalt zebra I reckon, or as already named above correctly Metriaclima callainos http://www.cichlidforum.com/profiles/species.php?id=2593.
The other blue guy, with the black trim, has again been correctly id'd by blue2fyre as Pseuodtropheus Socolofi http://www.cichlidforum.com/profiles/species.php?id=919
Pic 7, fish side on. This also looks like a Malawi, but an aulonocara/halplochromine type. Perhaps a female. Check this link http://www.cichlidforum.com/profiles/category.php?cat=1 and look at in particular things like Copadichromis and Placidochromis. I feel yours is likely to be a female of the latter genus or similar - perhaps hybrid.
Particularly from Pic 2, that little goldy fellow with a blueish tint looks like this http://www.cichlidforum.com/profiles/species.php?id=953 (tropheops sp., Gome Yellow colour morph). Check its mouth against the mouth in that prophile and see if we have the right genus. Otherwise, it is in the other pics very Labidochromis looking. it may be a bit of a mutt (hybrid).
The big old spotty fellow seems to be a common pleco.
I'll move this to the rift lake forum for some more views as aside from the plec they all seem to be african.

thanks so much everyone for responding to midgis post with such great info. seems like she has some rare ones. I am alot more familiar w/ SA Cichlids, so i really havent been much help at all except to go watch them "play". I am about to look up full grown size of each of these fish to see what a good size tank to look out for in the future. My guess is BOB will probly get around 16" or so, so id go at least a 75 an up. i saw a craigslist of a fish breeder closing out, so maybe we'll have to make sum calls!!!
Midgi, you are very creative with yor tank design, I really think they are happy. don't let it bother you too bad when they do their rearranging, I think it is enjoyable to them to have stuff to move around!!!!!

Coler i am with you and its almost eerie in the sense i was thinking of the labidochromis looking hybrid as well, sorta messed up aye..
The silver African looks to be a hap female but again i have to agree with coler it could go peacock as well..
