my clown had a serious fit. What gives?

Keeping goldfish with tropicals is generally a really bad idea. Not only do they need different food to meet their nutritional needs, buts they require very different water temperatures.
I must say thats also a very odd grouping of fish, normally I wouldn't put those in a tank together for fear of some major aggression issues. How big is that tank?
What are the water params? Hopefully you remember dechlorinator and the temp of the new water wasn't a huge difference from the old tank water.

Can't find a better home for her so the Goldfish is staying with the community, I've had her in a community tropical tank since I got her which was a year ago, I got her at Petsmart when they had a "Mix 'N Match" 10 for $10 sale. Their was a list with different fish you could buy with the deal that included Goldfish, Danios, Platies and maybe 2 others. The employee never mentioned that the goldfish was a coldwater fish so we didn't know but she's been going strong ever since.I keep the temp at about 75 degrees, she's got her own food and she eats the frozen bloodworms with everyone else.

Oh and about an hour after my post yesterday everyone's gotten back to normal, no fish were lost and everything's good.
