My clowns laid eggs again.

why wont my clowns lay eggs :(

I'm pretty amazed that the maroons haven't killed you other clowns! They tend to be pretty agressive and don't usually tolerat anything they could even vaguely confuse for another clown ,"they aren't real bright either."

Congrats on the eggs are you going to attempt to rear the babies ?

well, that's the way to do it, with pairs. They wont go too far if they have a hosting spot and a mate they like. :)


and yes adrew... i am trying too hard... as you know i jsut bought a WAY oversized skimmer so i could feed them even more without my sps getting too upset at me....

Question on this topic, generally speaking, how big, or mature rather do percs have to get/be, before they decide to spawn?

It sounds like Fishieness has been trying for a while, unsuccessfully. I am just wondering if we all can compare notes... I would love to try... perhaps a new thread?
