Its so funny CAE have the reputation of being horrid creatures but mine love my cories and my other fish! Unfortunatly he will have to leave soon due to his size but he treats my cories like he's their dad its awesome!

I have always heard that CAEs are nice and docile until they reach 6 inches or so, then they suddenly turn aggressive.
I inherited a Chinese Algae Eater when my Grandmother passed away. He's about 4" and he can definately chase. He hangs out in a cave and then charges out at anything passing. I don't have any other bottom dwellers in with him right now except my pleco, who seldom lets go of the drift wood long enough to cruise the tank. I'm planning to trade the CAE in (though he is fun to watch) and do a school of cories instead.
