My Cryptocoryne wendtii ''green'' is dieing. I didnt do like it said to remove all the leaves except 4-5 of the newest leaves. It was in the tank for a few days all ready. Not the holl thing died but some parts like some of the roots and the leaves but the rhizome and some leaves and some roots are healthy. Is this normal? It used to be dug up in the sand but i took out all the dead roots and leaves and im letting it float in the tank now. Its in my 25 gallon tank and you can check it out in my signature.

yup crypt melt happens sometimes, especial when ya dig em up and move em. as long as there is a healthy root system it will grow back

Ok. Should i dig up the rhizome or leave it in the open?
