Don't wish away your time unemployed too much, cos by the time you get one you'll wish you didn't! Are there any chores around the house you can do for pocket money? I used to vacuum the house for my mum every weekend for a small price. If you're thinking of it for your fish hobby, once you get yourself set up, if everyone flourishes and starts having babies, you might be able to work out a deal with an LFS for store credit in return for babes. If you have plants, once they start growing instead of just cutting them, by carefully trimming them you will have some plants you can sell on/swap with other fish enthusiasts. (You could grow them in that DP tank you're going to set up
jokes). There are a couple of threads about money saving in the hobby around if you want to check them out.
