My dad really likes cichlids but he only has a 15gal aquarium..

its 17" high x 24.5" long x 13" deep

its well planted with lots of hiding places for fish, right now we got a bunch of zebra dianos with a dwarf gourami and a group of panda cories

its already cycled and my dad is more than willing to trade all of his fish for some ciclids.

he's not too picky but we would like something colorfull

any suggestions??

Can try dwarf cichlids. Laetacara species (curviceps or dorsigerus). Apistogramma species (agassizii, borelli, and many more). Or Keyhole (Cleithracara maronii)

i cant find any info on the keyhole (cleithracara maronii) cichlids on the aquaria central database for fish... are there any websites out there with a larget database of fish w/ pictures?

keyhole (AC)

keyholes are personable and very docile. When really healthy they show some hints of other colors too. However your average keyhole is not that flashy
