Looks good! Is that an Oceanic tank by chance? It has the same giant glass brace with a plastic strip down the center as mine...just curious.

It Deff looks like a Oceanic. Mine has the same glass brace.

are you just scooping the crushed coral out handful by handful or are you siphoning it out??

I siphon one day then scoop the next and replace water.

I have covered about 3/4 of the tank with 80 lbs of sand. I still have 80 lbs left. How thick should the bottom be? Also, we would like to purchase another filter. Can somebody please tell us a good filter to buy?
