Hi, are my 2 5 inch blue turq discus ok in a 60 gal? Are they to big?

I'm assuming that they are in the same tank as the Altum? 60 gallons should be o.k. I would think. I hate to sound wishy washy, but often I find it can depend on the temperment of the angel or discus.

Lots of breeders use 25g tall tanks for breeder pairs that size - I believe that they will be fine and happy in a 60g!

These are with 2 keyhole cichlids, no angels ever now which is bad news!

Or my pleco, maybe my rainbow shark in time to come.

If that's the 175ltr tank then that is more like 47g, but I still think that's fine...the keyholes are pretty low key fish.

Well theres different litres and gallons for USA n UK rememebr, my tank is 48 inches long, 18 inches high, nice n tall and 15 inches bag, so a larger 4 ft tank.

Are you saying your litres are bigger and better than our litres? This is just the kind of attitude that started the revolution! I believe it started over litres of tea being thrown over board! :D Oh, well, you did give us Monty Python - all is forgiven!!

About 4 years ago, when i was 14 my dad got me Monty python and the holy grail, well i thought it would be a good movie so i watched it one night....the clapping of coconuts to make the horse's hoofs sound was...er...well i dunno weird, and if i remember rightly they had like orange blood, weird film. But i havent watched it in ages.

I was 13 back in 1974 when they started showing the original Monty Python series on public television - it definately molded and warped my sense of humor - as well as others - Saturday Night Live was admittedly heavily influenced by Python, and Eric Idle was actually working a lot with the original cast. But I digress.... :OT: Have fun with your discus!
