Hello,

I figured I will brag a little about the background I made for my tank.

I used styrofoam, grout, spray paint and fiber glass resin. I tried to hide the filter outlet and a heater so I built that kind of cheesy looking thing with the plastic screen mesh in the middle.

I am happy with since its my first stab at something like that.

What do you think?

I think you did a pretty awesome job there Mike!!!! Looks nice!!

The part with the screen in front of it actually looks great IMO. The screen seems hard enough to see, it really just looks like a dark crevice. Good job! :D

Thats really cool looking, and don't worry about the filter/heater hiding part as Spewn already pointed out it just looks like a deep crevice and takes nothing away from the background itself.

Makes my plain stick on background look somewhat dull!!

Thanks, i appreciate it.
I could have tried and made it a little bit more natural looking as opposed to that "S" shape, but I do like it better than just a plain black or blue background.

looks great. HUGE pic too lol.
