My diy hood

Here is my DIY hood for my 20 gallon, still needs the stain and light fixture inside.

Total cost without the electrics, only wood , is 45 canadian dollar.

I think it looks better than the original plastic hood !

Check out the cabinent knobs at your local hardware store. Home Depot and Lowe's both have a huge variety--some really nice ones, simple, fancy--whatever you want, really.

If you want to find some really cool knobs, try The Great Indoors, if you know of any by you. A top of the line Home Depot type store, with like 150 different knobs to choose from.
