I would make the holes bigger also, but you can always do that after you test it. I also didn't glue mine togethor. The connections should be pretty snug w/o. Either way gj looks nice
what im wondering is.....will the pressure throughout the PVC make all of the holes shoot out the same amount of water....or will those ones towards the ends send out less water then the middle ones?
OK, PICS !!! I am worried also about the spray bar parts being on the outside' of the tank . so if you do find any problems, it may leak on the out side of the tank ? But maybye with this model canister, this is the best way to hook up a spray bar, how far are you on it now ?? any concerns ? problems ? how is everything goiing .. Update please .. ~~~
and how long is yoru hole bar ?? and is that 3/4" pvc ? it looks a little bigger in pictures sorta like the 1IN, but that could just be the pictures... hey whats in the pot on the chair ?? lol ~ sorry , couldent stop myself from asking ..
to answer some ?'s. i didnt glue anything but the parts on the outside. left everything inside unglued for cleaning. the pipe is 3/4. i wanted the holes are small on purpose. more flow. the hose barb is 3/4 and it fits snugly but also has a pipe clamp on it just in case the hole bar is about 40 inches long the pot had gravel in it from me tearing down my 5 gallon and starting over lol one thing i did notice is to silicone the hose barb where it screws in it leaks a little but i solved that problem very easily
also as far as i can tell all holes have about equal pressure and i drilled the holes at the ends in at an angle to force water toward each side of the aquarium but im very pleased with it so far no leaks!
lol yea messed up on my holes and yes im going to paint it black to match. actually had my gf helping me drill holes and she twisted it and well i got off track thanks for the comments guys!
