He backed up his claims by saying google it. That's not backing up claims with facts. In fact, I did a little Googling on the subject, and considering all the conspiracy theories and end of days malarkey coming from dozens of pages without a credible scientist in the mix, as well as the fact that most pictures touted as evidence showed obvious camera flare action or objects that could easily be satellites, a normal planet, or other stars, I'm more convinced than ever that it's not true. Unless someone wants to provide a credible source from someone versed in science as opposed to conspiracy and prophecy that can scientifically prove it's existence and eventual impact on Earth, there are no facts to back the Nibiru claim up, meaning that it is just an opinion.

Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, etc. are not sources for facts. They are places for anyone who wants to share anything at all can share it. Just because it's in print, or it's online, doesn't make it true. There's an old saying, "don't believe everything that you read." In today's age, it goes much further, and should include not believing everything you see on the net either. If you'd rather not take my advice, I'd be happy to hook you up with enough multi level marketing schemes... er.. .I mean, businesses to make you a billionaire overnight. They have websites to back up their claims too!

I miss the good old days when the world was going to end at midnight, January 1st, 2000. They had even more people than Nibiru and 2012 Doomsdayers combined, backing up their claims at the time...

Where is this behind the sun place? You do realize that all of the planets in our solar system orbit the sun, so there really is no backside of the sun, right?

backside of the sun... XD I can totally see the sun with a plumbers bum... *falls over laughing*

Anyway, about the planet, it's completely possible. This universe is immense, and stray planets are not just possible, but probable. A star dies and the planet survives, and ends up on a random trajectory though space. Or maybe it collided with something and was knocked out of orbit. Possibly the planet's home star may have just changed slightly and caused gravitational ripples that forced to planet out of orbit. Could be a large asteroid. Maybe even an alien space ships that wants to use to sun to fuel it on it's journey. Anything's possible.

EDIT: I don't actually believe in it, BTW. Probably just us stupid humans getting riled up over a speck of dust on a camera lens... :)

i just wish someone would get the ghosts out of my attic so i could have time to spend fearing and finding niribu. now that my kids are older, they like to stay under their beds between 8:00 pm and 1:00 am and scare them and keep them awake. apparently my kids are sensitive too and i fear their lives may be in danger far before niribu reaches us. :help:

anybody have any ideas how to handle this so i can focus on the approaching planet more?

you think we should get rid of the ouija board and quit doing seances? i mean normally i would immediately but my wifes mother just keeps saying the nicest of things to us. i just know it's her...

ok back on topic plz, yes nibiru is real, nasa is ( i think? ) the one that found it. first behind pluto making it the 10th or so planet? ( dont really know how many planets there really is. but read somewhere that nibiru could be the 10th planet ) or so they thought, tell it reached the sun. but then again nasa has lied to us, thats why for short nasa stands for *never a straight answer* i dont believe the hoax about the world ending, but i do beleive by dec 2012 we will have a change and such. the world isnt going to end anytime in our lifetime ( atleast i hope not ) and there has been vids of nibiru taking energy (or fire ) from the sun. that to i dont believe. and yes i remember the 2000 castrophe lol. we were suppose to lose power. all power grids shut down * how thats poss? i have no idea. ) but i to was freaking back then, i was 10 at the time and didnt know about the lies and such. but i guess we all will see when the time comes about 2012..

If there were 8 planets that close to the Earth, you can be certain we'd have the worst storms in recorded history by far. But they would be the least of our concerns, among the other problems they would create.

You don't happen to watch Doctor Who (2005), do you? The Season 4 finale is based on a similar idea. But there were 26 planets in the sky.

Also, if you haven't seen it, you should watch a show called Lexx. Season 3 all takes place on 2 planets orbiting on exactly the other side of the sun called "Fire" and "Water" (Heaven & Hell), completely undetectable from Earth.

Of course it's important to realize that these are fictional stories, just like Niburu. Great for entertainment, but works of science "fiction". Not actual science.

Love that episode ;)

Anyways I would love to know why NASA would have any interest in hiding another planet from us...particularly one that is taking our suns energy LMAO

Stop drinking the koolaid...
