I'd like to say the specialists, but there have been multiple religions that formed based on failed predictions (sometimes multiple failed predictions).

Although I will point out that the logic of "why would the government cover it up?" is silly. If they thought it'd cause panic they would cover it up. They've already basically said that they'd respond that way in the past. There have been documents that state that that is how they'd respond (when possible) to things like alien contact and potential disasters (nothing to say these thing have happened, but that they would respond this way).

The main evidence is that without an active attempt to move it, it is astronomically improbable that it'd hide "behind the sun". It is theoretically possible, but would require multiple (actually a whole lot) of extremely unlikely (like, 'hitting the lottery 5-6 times in a row' style unlikely) orbital paths to all happen at the same time. Basically it'd have to be a artificially created path, and at that point there is no reason to bother. If you can move a brown dwarf then there is no reason to hide.

I guess I am more trustworthy but I do agree that they would probably fail in doing so. Keeping an astronomical body like this secret from 7 billion people is a pretty hard thing to do considering how some of the predictions made would make it visible to the naked eye in the night sky.

zaffy i love the movie deep impact, infact i got alot of movies that deals with world endong and alien invasion, but no this dwarf star isnt going to be causing the world ending castrophe..... world isnt going to end. they say the east coast hasnt had a hurrican this bad in 100 years, same with the earthquick... my theory is that this dwarf star has somthing to do with it.

Source please. Also interested in knowing how a supposed object millions of miles away is somehow controlling normal geological events...it's not like these things don't happen.

Dig deeper and you can easily see that the owner of that website is an obvious conspiracy theorist. Sorry, but posting blogs and youtube videos is a hard way to convince anyone with a remote interest in science.

And I googled...came up pretty empty.

This hurricane has the potential to be one of the worst mainly due to it's path, it's size and speed in which it's traveling. It's not even close to being the most powerful storm the last 100 yrs. I can assure you that it has nothing to do with a dwarf star...lol. You have to understand under what conditions hurricanes form and what drives them. Just exactly how would a dwarf star effect that? Especially one that doesn't exist. Our own Sun is the driving force.

This hurricane was only a slight bit off of being a normal common event. If it had gone west it would have just been another storm hitting Florida (we're used to it here). If it had gone a little more east it would have just been another storm trying to hit Iceland (never succeeds but they try many times each year). It isn't even that strong really (relatively). It just took one of the worst possible path.

And half the people on the videos on that website make no sense. It's a bunch of people looking at things and saying "I don't understand this! <insert wild theory>". It's like those shows on Discovery about aliens. A bunch of simple concepts that are perfectly easy to explain but instead they grab some person who doesn't even bother to try and instead says "this makes no sense!", because it helps spread their point of view. I mean, I get this stuff borderlines on religion for a lot of people. But you just look crazy when you point to something that wasn't mysterious to begin with and start saying "see! I told you <insert wild theory here> was true!".

Yeah, that website has about as much credibility as the National Enquirer. People should be careful believing everything they read and using sources like this to support their position. All it does is expose naivety and makes you a target for those who would try to take advantage of that fact.

wheres zaffy when i need him lol.....

anyways, so your saying alot of websites are hosting fake and make beleive stuff? yes i agree its hard to beleive whats on sites nowadays, but i do believe what i see and my friends see. we have personaly seen ( well i didnt but my friends have ) the dwarf star, but it is more seeable in the south and north pole..... dont ask me why or how.. just is, ask anyone that is into this type of stuff.

LMAO

rough physical size of a dwarf star????
