here's an update.. she's released her eggs.. and there are thousands of little planktonic fry in their zoea phase.. 
they are very active and interesting to watch..

well.. sad news.. i saw only one crab fry this morning.. the rest have passed away.. it was quite difficult to maintain the water quality of the 1.5 gallons in the crabitat.. all the fry increased the bio load a lot. and my vinegar eel culture was not ready to be harvested to feed the fry also, i was using finely crushed tetra crab cakes and hikari micro wafers, but they were having trouble eating it.. next time i plan to have her drop the eggs into a different tank with a little sand at the bottom with more water to keep the sponge filter upright, try to maintain better water quality, and feed with vinegar eels. i only had 3 weeks and a limited budget to prepare for the fry this time.
