My fancytail oranda goldfish has a spot above it's mouth and below his eye.

The main thing is to get off the skin of the pea. If it is a fresh pea, cook it. If it is frozen or canned, the inside will be good do go. Just remove the skin (defrost if frozen..just hold it in your hand or let it sit in a cup of warm water) and then feed the pea to your fish.

Okay I didn't even consider canned. I was just thinking that it had to be fresh like fruit. So just as long as the skin is off, okay well then I'll try the canned peas for now. How often should this be fed to them? Every other day...? Sorry to be bombarding you with all these questions. It's just that this is new to me and therefore I'm still in the learning process. And I'm now down to my last fish (from 4). :(

Thanks again for your suggestions FishyFry.

Not a problem. Once a week is fine. From what I've seen around here, most folks wait until there is a problem. Wondering if it might be time to consider other food choices. I couldn't recall when I started this response if you mentioned what your fishies normal diet is.
