Thought I'd post a pic of my Featherfin Squeaker since he was out and about this evening.

Nice catfish , what is the scientific name for the fish is it synoclontis eruptis . i got one from pet shop and that is the name they gave me it looks very much the same , but i cant find that name anywhere

I have done some research the spelling should be SYNODONTIS EUPTERUS.
now the shop has it spelt wrong so i have found the fish and thats it if i,m right .

I have had him for about 8 weeks , one of my favorite fish .

I had one for over 12 years, it was fully grown when I got it. I presume it finally died of old age.

He looks alot like mine, but mine has larger spots.
I was wondering what does your featherfin eat? i have one that is a picky eater, he does not like frozen bloodworms, shrimp pellets or algae wafers, He will sometimes eat some flakes. What else can i try? thanks

Mine likes Spectrum pellets. But mine is not picky, and also likes HBH shrimp pellets, algae wafers, and pretty much anything else.
