:help2:
I just bought 4 new female guppies yesterday, and one of them is having a drop. She's got a baby stuck in her, and she's having problems pushing it out. She's been in labor for about 7 or 8 hours. Is there anything I can do?

1:Let nature take its course and 2: Get something soft and thin to help it out,but i wouldn't do that.i seen someone get eggs out of a goldfish by hand before.

getting eggs out of a goldfish and getting a fry out of a guppy are two totally different entities. many breeders that are trying to strengthen strains will extract eggs from female goldfish.

you can try to remove the fry with a pair of tweezers, but you will probably lose the fry and stress out the mother.

How long has the fry been stuck? It's fairly normal for them to be stuck for 10-15 minutes, but if it's several hours I'd be worried. As for labor itself, it can sometimes take about 20 hrs for them to drop all of the fry.

He started poking out like, maybe 2 hours ago... He's been just kinda barely stuck out... I'm pretty sure it's one of the fry.
