Well... I got a tank full of ich. I treated with salt and heat and that has reduced it... what I can see of it. Unfortunalty, I lost two neons and a prego female guppy. The problem that I see now is that I am going on vacation for two weeks. I know that I haven't treated the tank long enough so I have a plan. The fish that are left seem strong so I am going to leave the tank heat setting at 82. I am also going to reduce the salt level to about 1 tsp. per gallon and let it be as it will be. I have a friend coming over to feed the fish in mid week the first week and I will be stopping by myself the second week probably mid through. As mean as it my sound I figure that between the crappy auto feeder stone and the guppy fry, the fish will have enough food. I will be happy if one or two of the fry make it, but I am not getting my hopes up. when I come back I will get so food for fry and make an effort to keep some of the guppy fry alive but I just don't see it happening this time.

Wish me luck!

This setup is about as safe as you can get. I'd skip the "vacation feeder". I'd also have your friend feed two or three times that week, but MEASURE OUT some food for him/her in single-serve sandwich baggies or they'll likely give your fish a literal buffet (this always happens when you don't premeasure).

Add extra extra extra aeration to your tank. If you can put five airstones in a ten gallon tank (with a fairly tight cover to reduce evaporation) your oxygen levels and fish health will do a lot better until you get back.
