here is a picture of my first 30 g tank.
what do you guys think?
does anybody have any suggestions?
i would love any help/information that i can get.

the occupants are:
6 julii cory's
1 male neon dwarf blue gouramis
3 female honey gouramis
8 harliquin rasaboas
2 painted platies (1m/1f)
it's had it's fully stocked for 2 months and was cycled with 6 danios (which i found too active for my taste :(
i have 2 AC 150's going although i'm not sure if i should add anymore filtration (it seems to get a bit dirty behind the driftwoods, even when i gravel vac, anyway):(
thanks for any input!

Sounds like you're doing great! Nice tank :D
You can get extensions for the uptake tubes of Aquaclear filters, I don't know if this would work for you but you could place the tubes in an area where they'd pull more water from the spots where you're finding dirt building up. Another option is just to do more frequent water changes/gravel vacs (I do a minimum 25% once a week, sometimes twice if things look 'dirty').

With the 2 150's you have in there now, you have a 10x turnover rate. Of course, it might not be exactly a 10x turnover because of possible "blockers" that would slow the water circulation down, but IMO you still have plenty in the way of filtration.

Nice aquarium you got! ;)
