i actually freaked out cause they are really ugly. i saw two of them so far. i hope they breed more and eat my algae off.

Check out how they look at night, their shells sparkle with a pearlescent sheen.

i dont know whats pearlescent sheen nor i never heard of it:duh:

You know how the inside of an oyster shell has a luster to it? Thats the same thing. The stomatella shells look like shiny flat pearls at night. The black variety less so but still somewhat noticable.
