teh middle two i don't know what you are referring to, the second pic it might be some sort of sponge...

the last is a feather duster that has found its way onto your glass...

one month old FOWLR, yay i got some copepops.

i seemed to waste little bit of RO water until i get 0ppm whenever i reused it. does anyone else?

I like how basic your overflow is... How much noise does it make?

lower than my skimmer pump. when i made my overflow with Durso Standpipe, i went with 1" instead of 1 1/4" so it makes little noise but i can handle it. thanks
