according to the dimensions given, its just under 60 gallons..
But I wonder if they know how to read a ruler sometimes...

I would say likely a 55 gallon since they measure 48x13x21. Hard to know how well calibrated his eyeballs might be.
I know..... well, with all the research he "did", I guess he thought a ruler mighta been too archaic
At best, $1 - $1.50 per gallon for the tank...
the bigger the tank, the more per gallon...
$2 - $2.50 a gallon with stand/equipment...
What they think is a great deal isn't necessarily mine..more will come along..be patient..

:iagree: Be patient they will come. I got a 75gal with wood stand, lights and hood for less than $150. You could also check out freecycle.org You will be surprised how many people just want to give you their tanks. I have 2 tanks (1 tank, stand, hood & lights) so far that I got for free. Good luck, DD.
