I've been strictly inverts until now. I drove over to mgamer's place and picked up 2 adult endlers and 6 endler fry. I never imagined they'd glow so magnificently! As an unexpected bonus, once they were in the tank they went to town on the planaria. Sorry there aren't more, these are the only ones out of almost 150 that didn't look like Neo dodging bullets. And I thought shrimp were tough to photograph: at least they keep still while eating!

this one's probably the biggest of the juvies, the smallest being just under 1 cm

What's the difference between a juvenile and fry?

Fry are newborns, juvies are youngsters.

Those are real pretty fish!

thanks! I just wish they were more camera-friendly hehe. I busted almost 3 hours for 4 good shots and my back and fingers ache like there's no tomorrow haha. The pains I endure for my critters... So these are all juveniles, then? Er, how long before an endler fry graduates to juvenile endler?

Very nice additions! Now you've done it......moving over to the fishy side of things.....I see more tanks in your future!:evil_lol:

Haven't the foggiest, pik. We'll just wait until someone else tells us.

the next tank's already forming in my head ^^ I'm thinking a 20 long with ember tetras, pygmy corys, yellow shrimp, tahitian black moon sand...plants of course...maybe some bumblebee gobies? It's still early so who knows :D
