the tank is 15g, and will be 2/3 of the way full. their is a back wall made of great stuff foam, that I plan to cove using brown silicone and potting soil. their will be several planters, and everywhere will be heavily planted. that is all I have so far, is there anything that doesnt sound like it will work?

Nah, it sounds like you're off to a good start. Good luck, and post pics.

um i hope the brown silicone your refering to is aquarium safe. GE silicone or comprable from your local hardware store is toxic to fish.

GE silicone is just fine for fish, as long as its 100%. I have some in my reef tank that has been going for about 6 months now, and have no problem with it.

anyways, the plan fell though, I dont have enough funds to do it.

ever hear the saying don't believe everything you read well. lets let facts speek for them selves the link below is what is referd to as a MSDS fact sheet or Material safety data sheet it's a complete work up for safety in the construction industry as well as others like firefighters and medical as to what the product is and what is risks might be heres the link you figure it out. Theres a reason your local quality pet shop does not sell GE silicone for fish tank repairs. Or do your own search type in Non Toxic Silicone some how i don't think you will find GE silicone anywhere.
