MY FISH ARE LOST IN THE MAIL!!!!!!!!!

That's great that they arrived alive!

Since they missed the deadline you should be getting a refund on shipping costs from the seller, which was probably around $30-35. I know I'd be asking for a refund anyway.

I only paid $21 for USPS overnight shipping. I think some sellers mark the prices up quite a bit...of course how far the package has to travel might influence the pricing, though.

The seller wrote me back, he offered to try to get me a refund, I told him not to worry about it, although I didn't realize it would be that much though! Oh well. I can't upload any pics, they aren't the right format, but she doesn't have blue eyes either, shouldn't they be a blue by now? Or do they change color with age? Her tail is all brown though with a cream tip

Yeah I think they have a chart on their site, if the person is in the same zone or a nearby one ts substantially cheaper. I was just basing it on how much it's cost me to ship packages express in the past.

It's pretty easy to calculate on the usps site all you need is their zip code and package weight to get an idea, I'd definitely get a refund on it, if you felt really generous you could split it with the seller for being so compliant.

hmm, a pic would be really helpful, I'd ask the seller what they sent you, it's possible they got mixed up.

I'm trying to upload pics, but it was the wrong format, I might have it work now though. She is for sure a calico though imo, brown tail, brown dorsal fin, brown spots along her side. Her brown has darkened since she has been settling in. Trying to get a better pic as well :)

ship happens... literally... no matter the shipper. for me at my location... i can trust usps almost completely... all the time. ups, however is a totally different ball game... not even in the minors... more like pee wee league compared to usps, fed-ex, dhl, you name it. i wouldn't wish UPS on my worst enemy...

they are going to get the money back so you might as well get it for the stress.

I'm interested to see if this bn is a calico or not. I like calico's better than albino's, I have three short finned in my 125g, they are brown/creme/orange, reallly pretty!
