My fish went missing :(

I just got a yellow coris wrasse and is no where to be found I have looked everywhere, I did some work on my canopy so I laid a towel ontop just in case anyone made a run for it

but when I put everything back together the yellow wrasse went M.I.A I have been reading about them and they tend to go into the sand but its been over night and I don't see it anywhere

The guy I got my tank from said he didn't see his wrasse for weeks on end. I've had my tank for 4 days now and have only seen it out and about a couple of times.
 
i have a yellow tailed wrasse and when i first put him in i didnt see him for a few days...he swam on top for a few minutes then boom straight into the sand for prolly 2-3 may be even 4 days...but they will come out...now i see him all the time but as soon as the lights go out hes gone for the night til the lights come on again...i wouldnt worry unless its a week or more and u dont see him:headbang2:
 
Thank you all, the wife call me @ work telling me that the fish was "found" swiming around the tank :) she was a little freaked out because at the time she was looking for it on the floor in some boxes we have by the tank and when she got up bang! there he was :)

She says that when feeding he was not really into it, when I came home he was back in the sand :( I'm worried that he is not eating well.
 
Glad to hear that you found it. I'm sure it will start eating eventually. Was the fish eating when you had him QT? (That's if you QT'd it prior)
