Hi Everyone,

Thought I would start posting pictures of my FOWLR tank, and a rare shot of the shark that lurks deep inside :)

I'll post more as I take better ones..

Hahah convince my wife of that. No the tank is pretty deep it should keep everyone happy for another year while I see if I can squeeze a bigger one in the basement project lol.

Nice set up !!! What do you think of keeping a shark ???

Well, it is difficult, all the facts are true. They are very sensitive and temperamental animals.

What I have learned is you have to mix up their diet quite frequently. They get bored or one type of food in 2 feedings, so you have to switch it up or they will refuse to eat.

It took me about a month to ween him off live food to frozen, so that has made the feeding process easier.

He did grow a lot quicker than I was originally planning! Last chance I got to hold a tape measure when he was out, from head to tail he's around 2.6ft lol.

They are care dwellers during the day, so you have to wait until night to really see them become active, so I highly recommend a moon light :)
