The background is a 3d structured background, its 2 panels stuck to the glass its about an inch thick

This was it when I first got the tank before any algae build up.


I have had a struggle with algae on this tank due to my tap water nitrates being 40ppm and phosphates being around 2. I've sorted the po4 out with phos remover and got it down to 0.25. My plan of action is to start using half RO half tap water as of next week to get the nitrates down!
