Harken unto my words! One of my Spirit Crustaceans, so named for their appearance, has given up the ghost! I removed some of the aged water from my glass box and returned yet more, cleaner water unto it. Whilst I was doing so, I also felt it prudent to scrub the large mineral deposits that also did occupy this glass tank with cool water. Though, I did save some of the aged water in the glass box which did also contain some large mineral deposits that I did not scrub under the cool waters. One of the Spirit Crustaceans, yea verily, didst turn more visible to mine eye and then, gave up the ghost. Yet another Spirit Crustacean didst also turn more visible to mine eye, but that one, even that Spirit Crustacean who didst appear to be in preparations to give up the ghost, did not. That crustacean didst return to a normal hue after the period of a few hours.
My frogs are normal, in case you, dear reader, were at all interested or concerned for their well-being.
This reminds me of another tale and whilst I have thine ear bended, let me regale you with it, that we might share in my righteous indignation. I had gone to an animal market at which they sold a container that didst hold five gallons of water. The hawker asked a price thereof numbering seventy dollars. My friends, the very same container, yea, even one that does hold five gallons of water, can be bought from the mega-marketplace for thirty and eight dollars! Folly! These two containers were identical! The minute leviathan known as the "Vert Terrible" sold at the animal market for the amount of ten dollars. Yet another didst sell certain fishes that swelled to four feet before they reached the age of majority and asked only the price of seven dollars. Verily, I say unto you, these fishes are most diminutive at the time you purchase them, both in their size and their cost.
Yea, had I not been a learned individual, I would have purchased the Fish of Paradise, Nay, even two Fishes of Paradise and placed them in a container which holds water only five gallons of water! Were it that I was not a learned person, I would also have put amongst the Paradise fish, in this container that only held five gallons of water, five gallons being the amount it held, even other fishes! Alas, the hawkers of these wet wares were learned and didst give unto me their learning. They didst expound unto me the size these fishes could attain, amongst other things.
When in the mega-marketplace the hawkers may expound unto you, even erroneously, that the fishes of the golden hue need only a small vessel of water in which to live. Or, verily, even they may expound unto you that frogs need only a vessel containing one half of one gallon of water in which to thrive! Alas, be weary, for these hawkers might just deceive you thusly: They may say unto you, yea, even knowing that they should not say such things, that you should purchase for yourslf a container which did hold two gallons of water for the reason... Dear reader, I apologize. I am unable to complete that thought at this point in time.
