my ghost shrimp keep dying

nah, when I got these they looked fine... at least thats what I think...
eh mabe not... IDK... what are the signs that they are good?

their bodies will be clear, without even a hint of white haze. when they start turning milky, they are stressed. they will be active and almost constantly eating. they wont have patches on their bodies that look like burns or scabs.

thanks, they did turn a little milky... they never turned pink(eh family[they were buried in the back yard when they stopped moving])... so what is a way of reducing the stress? and what about a way of rescuing them from stress? I've actually had them before in a tank that was way too small... they were normal until the spikes... when the water became blurry

I think it's the snails or the fact I don't have a filter because last time I had them they did fine until the water began spiking
