Inside the aquarium there's got an Air tube that will make many bubble but my goldfish still go to surface and seem like gasping for air.. i really don't know what to do next.. because i change the water and put lack of bubbler.. what are they doing actually ? is it normal ? :help:

Have you checked the water parameters in the tank? When you changed the water, did you used a dechlorinating agent like prime or aquasafe, or at least let the water sit out for 24 hrs?

These may sound like dumb questions, but if your fish are gasping at the surface and your tank is oxygenated, my next guess would be something is off with the water chemistry.

Although they are very small fish, I think I would check the ammonia levels...

Although they are very small fish, I think I would check the ammonia levels...

ancient chinese proverb:
"though a single goldfish may be small... it's pooper is like that of many fish!"

Ammonia test kit.. i don't have it.. i will get it soon i only had PH Test kit.. if 70 gal too small for Goldfish comet then i just put 3 of them into my koi pond is it okay ?

PH Around 6.5-7

70 gallon for a goldfish you are starting off right. That is big enough for them long term.

What temperature is the tank?

What filtration do you have?

How long has the tank been set up?

Goldfish will gasp at the surface when oxygen level is below optimal in the tank. This is almost always caused by lack of a strong enough current in the tank compared to the temperature.

It can also be a sign that there is ammonia waste buildup in the tank and its damaging the fishes gills. This is normally the case if the tank is new and the bacteria that eat the ammonia are just getting established or "cycling".
