I just got the other 2 goldfish within the last week because I knew I was getting my bigger tank back, otherwise I would never have bought 2 more and I would be looking for a home for the two I saved from Wal-Mart. Since these are Oranda's and a black moor I don't think they grow quite as fast or big as the common goldfish. I shouldn't say as big, I should say as long.
They are going to be lost in the 60 for awhile I am sure, but it shouldn't take them to long to adjust.
Years ago I got a black moor goldfish from a friend of a friend who had it in a bowl. It was about 6-7 inches long and blind from the water it lived in. How it survived I will never know. But I took it home and put it in a tank by himself. Since he was blind, I would knock on the glass hood of my tank and he would come over to the corner where I was knocking and I would drop food to him. He lived for 2 or 3 years this way. Not sure why he died I am sure it was from being stunted and living in filthy water most of his life.
