the pictures arent great, and i still have to clad the stand and build the hood, plus the 2 big pieces of drift wood have coloured the water slightly, and i didnt clean the water marks from the front of the tank-what a list-but i thought id post some pics of my new goldie tank anyway. in here are 4 fancy goldfish and 2 common goldfish. the smaller orange and white goldie was rescued from a 2 gallon bowl, i figure she must be one of the luckiest goldfish ever :)

Kelly, they're beautiful. You must be so excited. Those are wonderful goldfish specimens. I love the driftwood too.

I love your comets! What a gorgeous tank you have set up for them. I've tried live plants many times, but they either eat them or move them around so much while rooting in the gravel that the plants die. I may try some potted plants.... perhaps that will solve the problem. Your tank looks so nice with all those plants.
Love the pictures!

it does take a lot to keep the plants in, but i have found if i feed them 3 times a day with slightly smaller feeds instead of 2 they do tend to leave them alone, well they are for now, fingers crossed it stays that way. the 2 biggest fantails are the worst culprits, they grab a leaf and just keep pulling, and the strength the bigger fish have i find is shocking lol, i dread to think how strong something like a pacu would be!
