My gourami needs your Help!!!

Hi everyone!!!

I need some help!!! I have a 55G fresh water tank. I've had it for years. But here recently, I have this poor fire mouth gourami that got a white patch on his head, It looks like a small cotton fluff. I have never seen this befor, so Im no sure what it is or how to help him get better. I know they are sad picks but its all I have. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Try moving him to another tank and treating him with salt. Srry, but i dont know what disease that is.

that could be a fungus.

Fungus (Saprolegnia)
Symptoms: Tufts of dirty, cotton-like growth on the skin, can cover large areas of the fish, fish eggs turn white.​
